We are paws-itively thrilled to announce that Santa Fe Animal Clinic is moving to a brand-new, larger location at The Ranch, 162 South Rancho Santa Fe Road, Floor F1, Encinitas, CA! This move marks an exciting milestone for our clinic, reflecting our growth and our commitment to offering even better care for your beloved pets.
Why Are We Moving?
When we first opened our doors, Santa Fe Animal Clinic was a single-doctor practice, operating out of 1,250 square feet with just two exam rooms. Over time, thanks to the support of our community and the expansion of our veterinary team to three doctors, we’ve outgrown that space. Our current location has served us well, but it’s time for a change that matches the growing needs of the pets and families we serve.
Why visit us at The Ranch?
Our new location will give us about 1,000 additional square feet of space, nearly doubling the room available to care for your pets! Here’s what you can expect in our expanded facility:

Four Exam Rooms: More space and privacy for each visit. One exam room will be a dedicated comfort room for bereavement, featuring a private exit to provide a peaceful, supportive environment during difficult times.

Cat-Only Room: Separate, quiet space just for cats, including designated waiting areas to keep cats comfortable and stress-free, separate from dogs.

Improved Parking: A large parking lot in the complex means better and more convenient parking for all our clients.

Surgical and Specialty Suites: We will have a dedicated surgical suite, dental suite, and radiology room, enabling us to deliver faster diagnostics, safer, more effective surgeries, and enhanced dental care.

Nearby Dog Park: A special treat awaits! Just beyond a wall of windows in our office, you’ll be able to see a dog park right across the field. After your vet visit, your pup can enjoy a fun playdate steps away at the dog park — a perfect reward and stress reliever.
Extended Hours Starting March
To better accommodate our clients’ busy schedules, we will expand our hours at our current location, starting in March. Our clinic will stay open until 6 pm on weekdays and will also be open on Saturdays, for the first time. This will give you more flexibility to bring in your pets for care without disrupting your day.
